Mutual respect

They request that patients recognize and respect the time, rights, and privacy of
all doctors and staff.
On time appointments
In general, doctors strive to see patients on time. To help ensure this policy can be true, we request patients arrive on time and are also understanding of any delays experienced due to extenuating circumstances.
Harassment-free environment
We provide a harassment-free environment for our patients and staff. Any behavior considered harassment, will not be tolerated in the clinic by anyone. This includes but is not limited to, offensive language, intimidation, physical
assaults, or aggressive behavior.
Missed appointment fees
24 hours advance notice is required for appointment cancellations. You will be billed for missed appointments.
Reason for visit
When booking your appointment, advise our staff what the reason is for your visit so that appropriate time can be allocated. Please present any forms before
beginning the visit with your doctor.
Test results
Administrative staff does not provide the results of lab or X-Ray results over the phone unless authorized to do so by the physician. We do not call if your results have returned to normal. If your results are abnormal, then our staff will call you and book an appointment for you to review your results.
Telephone calls
Phone calls are answered Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. We do not take calls from 12 pm to 1 pm due to the office lunch hour.
Prescription refills
Prescriptions from pharmacy faxed requests are not always responded to in a timely manner. Please ensure you make an appointment before you finish your last refill.
Uninsured services
The Medical Services Plan (MSP) may not cover certain services. Payment for uninsured services is due upon receipt of the service. We accept Cash or Visa.
Medical certificates and other third-party reports
According to the CPSBC practice standard, physicians are expected to provide medical certificates or reports within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30 business days of the request.
We recognize the importance of this information for employers and insurers when making decisions that affect financial and other entitlements. As medical professionals, our primary focus is on ensuring the well-being of our patients.
If your employer or insurer has established a deadline that cannot be accommodated within the usual timeframe, we kindly ask that you consider requesting an extension. Rest assured that your paperwork will be diligently processed within 30 business days, and upon completion, we will reach out to you directly for payment. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
